Friends always get preference. It's safety of actually knowing the person you'll be sharing the lease with. If I were picking between the postdoc who just arrived from a stay at a culinary school in France and you, I'd go with you, because I know you. Even if French chef had said he was going to cook for me every night. Cause, who knows what weirdness he might get up to.
Anyway, does this mean I should keep forwarding you seeking-roommate emails? I've got a couple in my mail queue.
yeah, i hear you. i mean, i understand. i'm just disappointed, of course. and yes, those seeking-roommate emails are very useful! (especially if they're easily subway-accessible...once you get too far west or north or south it becomes a pain in the ass to get over to the city!)
