Jun. 3rd, 2004 06:53 pmMy energy levels are still good. They've been good all week. I'm still off caffeine, except for an occasional cup of tea or a soda. I'm not using it regularly, anyhow. I believe this forces my body to wake itself up in the morning. Also,
anotherjen pointed out that caffeine can exacerbate anxiety. Maybe I was drained by caffeine-induced nervousness that I simply hadn't noticed? (I've also been emotionally calmer since I quit the crack in a cup.)
I've noticed differences with the new bed, too. Maybe karma's at work, or something. The bed frame is an antique that belonged to my great-grandparents. (In fact, my great-grandfather built the bed himself; he was an amazing craftsman.) They were married for 70 years, and never lost affection for each other. Everytime I look over at my bed I'm sort of reminded of them.
Work is kicking ass. With the tiredness gone, I am good at this job. With more training and experience, I'll get better and better.
