back early

I'm back in town a day early from Western MA, reasons being bad allergy attacks and subsequent boredom. Plus, I had stuff to do.

Unfortunately, we have no internet connection at the apartment right now. We also have no phone. Therefore, I'm completely disconnected except for this little trip to True Grounds. It's very disturbing. Both my housemates have cell phones, and I'm so desperate to get communications up that I'm considering a prepaid cell phone myself.

Gmail is also having some issues. If you really have to reach me, you might wanna use princessparsely@yahoo.com or post a comment.

rantmaster is all moved in as an official member of the household. I have to say the combination of the three of us is really grand. He and eisa are just fantastic people, and more than that, they're fantastic people that I feel good about living with. Now if I can just get that telecommunications issue under control...w00f

Cell phone is definitely the way to go in a roommate situation, IMO. Have one basic landline in the house if you want for 911 calls and ordering pizza and such, and everybody else uses cell phones for most stuff. Eliminates problems with roommates taking (and maybe losing) phone messages, dividing up the phone bill at the end of the month ("Who the hell called Portland Oregon for 104 minutes?"), and your calls always get to you even if you're out of the house.
