I can also say that the room organization is really coming along. my new dresser is in service; I've already filled every drawer. (how did I get along without it?)![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
happyfunpaul was kind enough to take me to Target yesterday, where I got some plastic totes for underbed storage. I also got some tacky bright-yellow tights!
One thing about my bed not being sideways against the wall is this: when I jump into bed enthusiastically, and I often do, the bed rolls towards the wall.
However, the benefits of facing the window and sunlight in the morning are worth it. I feel like I'm using the whole room. The big ugly "desk" is gone. It's now a young professional's room, instead of a kid's room. I even have my guitar standing in the corner.
The energy flow in here kicks ass, man.

Date: 2004-11-28 08:50 pm (UTC)I also have a string of blue icicle lights hanging above my windows, and some white lights arranged around two anime posters over my headboard. The light strings face each other from opposite walls, and it's a cool effect.
I can also plug my laptop into the network jack and electrical outlet without an extralong cable or extension cord. :-D
