oww. it hurts. my head, my neck, my throat. hell, even my feet hurt. everything's achy and sore. the pain in my forehead isn't going away with tylenol, which is very obnoxious. i'm shaky and weak. can't find a comfortable position in bed. ok, being sick is old now. unfortunately it's only going to get older.

my mom is expecting a visit this weekend. if i do go, i will probably leave midweek. i'm not looking forward to travelling with mono, but at least i don't have to exert myself while i'm on the train/bus/whatever...and she'll make me soup.

it is amazing how being in bed for several days can change your perspective on things, and allow you to sort your mind out in ways you wouldn't be able to if you were actually doing things that took up your time.

back to whining...

My friend Jacque ("Jackie") asked me to relay to you: drink lots of water, really. In a prior decade she had mono, went to the hospital from dehydration, and got put on steroids to pull her out of it. Steroids *suck*.
