I hope that means your face is washed and your teeth are brushed and you're in your jammies, ready for your bedtime story?

I think the problem is that you're investing far too much of your self-image in your job. Your performance at a job is not a way of measuring your worth as a human being. Maybe you suck at that kind of job, or maybe you just had sucky bosses/workplaces. Maybe you could be good at that kind of job but for whatever reason, weren't. So what??

Also, two years is an extraordinarily short period of time in the span of one's working life, which could be something like 40-50 years long. So maybe you got a false start and now you need to reconsider your career goals. Big deal. Much better after 2 years than 20.

You're a smart, educated, creative person. The world is your oyster. It's all laid out there in front of you. Just follow your bliss.
