Lately, food does strange things to my stomach. It's possible I may have at least the beginnings of an ulcer.

Get yrself cultured for h. pylori ASAP! That's the cause of most stomach ulcers, and it's easily treatable.

Ulcers is bacteria, not stress.

If it's not an ulcer, and in fact is stress-related, dietary changes might help. Or, you could have suddenly developed a sensitivity to wheat. Or dairy.

You don't know me--I was surfing friends of friends of friends and as someone who had an ulcer for a year during the Dark Ages when they thought they were caused by stress and acid (which cleared up in two weeks on antibiotics!) I felt compelled to comment.

Good luck.
