Yoga seemed a lot different this week. I didn't feel like it was kicking my ass this time. I still worked up a lot of sweat and felt the after-effects this morning. It just seemed as if my performance was a lot better; although I had sweaty palms and kept sliding towards the floor during Downward Dog. I also noted that the sweat dripping from my forehead was pinkish red. (me and my stupid hair...) The class is becoming something I look forward to the entire week.

Poses that have gotten easier in the past week:

Triangle
Warrior
Eagle
Downward Dog (except for the slippage, that sucked)

Also, the mandarin orange spice iced tea I made before class was delicious.

In other news, Jeff got a wireless ethernet router; once we get our cards installed I'll have the ethernet again. Schwing.

i've found that yoga performance seems to have a lot to do with your state of mind. when i came to class from a long upsetting day of work, i usually had a hard time focussing and got "impatient" with myself and with the positions. so maybe that's part of it? i'm glad it's going better :)
