i had a funny incident happen yesterday. i was walking to the video store on Elm Street and a group of teenagers were sitting outside Diesel Cafe, and two of them complimented me on my hair. i told them what i used and one of them said "omigod, Candy Apple Red is my favorite!!" this made me happy, although i used Cherry Bomb actually...a different fruit. but whatever. a couple of them smiled and waved when i passed them again on my way back home. should i bother suppressing my urge to befriend the cool Somerville teenagers?

nah, fuck it. i still feel seventeen most of the time anyway. who cares?
