my paper journal is getting a LOT of action. i mean, there are actually poems, free-writes and potential song lyrics on pages written over the past five days or so. it's been awhile since that happened. it's like my senses are waking up and expressing myself in metaphors is suddenly a worthwhile activity again. this is good!
