nice, sparkly red. I did a henna treatment this morning. I put the stuff on my head, wrapped it up, and went back to bed for three hours. now that I've figured out how to make it work, I really like the henna from Lush.
I'm glad I went to bed early last night. I needed the rest. And it gave me an opportunity to chat with [livejournal.com profile] temima who I really ought to hang out with more.
Tonight the band is playing a summer party, but at the moment it's raining. That should be interesting. Maybe we can tie umbrellas to ourselves while we play, or make someone hold up a tarp so we don't electricute ourselves with all the amps and mics. Huh. I'm still not sure what I'm wearing.

I painted my toenails red.

I need to see Fahrenheit 9/11.

I'm drinking iced coffee and noodling with my guitar and listening to Ani DiFranco.

This album is causing me to reminisce about Simon's Rock and being a sixteen-yr-old college freshman in the Berkshires...I thought life couldn't get any better. I could've stayed there forever. Why would anyone leave that campus and those people for a city? It was a utopia for me in many ways.

I'm glad I did that. It was the most life-altering year of my existence.
OK, I'm done being a poetic moron now. I have a gig to get ready for.
