Sep. 22nd, 2002 02:41 pmi gamed until 2:30 a.m. i'm playing Sapphire Shadow, a super scientist sleuth with insane mega-perception and mega-intelligence....not to mention excellent firearm talents and disappearing abilities. she's basically my ideal alter-ego. of course, G stuck me in a friggin' ancient subway in combat with a huge disgusting monster, and i'm not into combat. goddammit. i have to disappear and look like a coward, or else i have to disorient the monster mentally and cause it to puke on itself. it's certainly a mindfuck, especially for a beginner gamer like me.
oh, and we went SNOT SURFING! it's the new extreme sport! our monster was exuding radioactive mucus, so we sort of followed the trail into the depths. if you have a decent amount of dexterity, then you can go skating on the snot. pretty cool if you ask me.
so i'm really tired right now. i need sleep.
but it's funny...i'm so sucked into this game, that i've started forgetting that i'm not actually my character. i found myself thinking "oh, i have to go to the lab and analyze the monster snot!" then i remembered that i'm really just going to drive to my mom's, play with the kitty, and get a snooze and some food. if i'm lucky i'll make some sketches. i'm a dork.
