vicka took us to a neat used-CD store in somerville this morning and of course i couldn't walk away empty handed. i bought Apoptygma Berzerk, Cocteau Twins, and Orbital. (nah, i'm not a GOTH!!) the Apop was FOUR DOLLARS...I bought "Harmonizer"...SCORE!!! I'm listening to it now. I don't understand why someone felt the strong need to eject it from their lives. but it's all mine now, and i'm infatuated with it.

cambridge and somerville contain the cutest neighborhoods i've ever seen. too bad i was on my fourth and fifth day of sleeping like shit at night, it made for wierd emotional responses and a general weak feeling. if not for that, i'd have had the time of my life. the house is fabulous, with character, space, and people i can relate to. a new world for this country girl...i flew by Club Passim in the car today and had to yell...someday soon i'll be there. i just need to make these plans of mine work.

i need sleep. must recuperate.

whee...Apoptygma Berzerk "Harmonizer" has some FABULOUS tracks on it. and someone ditched it and now i have it for four measley dollars.

i also own the Cocteau Twins BBC Sessions double disc set...it was 17 used (but never had been opened!!!!!). if i can find someone around here with a CD burner i'll burn that set for you, unless you can deal with tapes. it's a great mix. lemme know.

cool...my mom's GF has a CD burner but i dunno if i'll have access to it, she may not know how to use it herself...so i'll copy some Cocteau. did you want Apop Berzerk too?

i really liked Lamm a LOT. and Rose Chronicles were nice. that Mazzy Star song that's all hard-rock-y...Placebo...good stuff. whatever inspires.

i miss you. and i miss being on your friends list. *puppy dog eyes*

and by the way, i went to the cafeteria, and the food was horrible, and that made me think of you. i realise that sounds weird. but you know what i mean. the horrible food made me miss your wonderful cooking.

i generally take people off my list when they take me off theirs. i don't know why...and i haven't written any private posts in at least a week or so anywho... i'll put you back on though. i'm flattered that you like my cooking so much, because it's usually pretty simple to make what i make. speaking of which, i think it's time for my breakfast. if i were in Somerville i'd go to the Diesel Cafe and get a bagel and jasmine tea. :o) but i'll just have some eggs...

yeah, i didn't mind you taking me off your friends list when i took you off mine. but you're back on mine now. i want everything to be back to normal again, like it was before my temporary insanity. i needed a break, but i missed people.

*hugs*
