cellomusettemy car passed inspection!! YAY!! that means i'm good to go.
i'm definitely thinking Northampton this weekend. i'll either leave friday night or saturday morning...depends on if my Grotto plans have a co-conspirator.
certain things make me unhappy at work. no, it is not alas a perfect world in my little lab. i am seriously objecting to the fact that two new (unqualified) workers were dragged down from the coordinating department to work in the molecular lab, where we do all the stuff with RNA. one of them has a fairly positive attitude---she has NO experience, but seems okay with learning how to pipette stuff and vortex, etc. etc. the other one is completely averse to being there and lets us know it loud and clear. about every five minutes we are reminded of just how much our job sucks.
but it doesn't suck. it's not for EVERYONE, but it works fine for me. it wears me down so much, that by the end of the day that i want to tell her to either shut the fuck up, or quit and find another workplace. i'm considering whether i should talk to our lab manager about it. i don't want to start any trouble for myself, but this is soooo bad for my morale.
in other world news, i haphazardly got into an online music project with a guy i don't really know...more on that later.
