One of our Sunday dinner guests taught me. I'm pretty excited.
So I did a practice run with a cover of "Bouncing Off Clouds." I'd kinda like to link to it here. But I don't actually know how to do that. Hrmm. Anyone have a clue they can lend me?

What is GarageBand? Is it anything like Adobe Audition or ProTools?

Hrm, I wish I knew! I've never used either of those programs. Pity. It's a program that came with my Mac iBook G4, and I think it's on newer Mac models as well. I still don't know how to compress my songs into mp3 format---I'm very much a beginner.

I did record a silly cover of "Bouncing Off Clouds" the other day. There's a panning-echo acoustic guitar solo. I am amused. :)

Hee! It's easy. Just click on the guitar icon. Go to "New Music Project." Enter the file name details. Get rid of the Grand Piano icon. Go up to the Tracks menu at the top of the screen and use it to delete the grand piano track. Get a new real instrument track. Play with the effects. I bet you'll figure it out from there. If not, I'll gladly demonstrate for you the next time I'm in town! Then we can even share tracks. :-D
