Halloween history. Or lack thereof.
Oct. 28th, 2004 10:22 amwhat have I done the past several years on this holiday?
let's review...
2003: had coffee with
drglam and
clary at Someday Cafe. we walked to my apartment and hung around until someone got tired. no costume.
2002: walked around Northampton with some of my gamer friends from College. bought a pink wig from Faces. no costume.
2001: nothing at all, actually. had a driving test on November 1st, so I was home at Mom's having an early night.
2000: went goth clubbing! had blue hair! OMG plans!! no costume.
1999: fucked if I know. really can't remember.
1998: walked around Northampton with then-best-friend. we bought feather boas. it was cold and windy. no costume.
1997: I think I watched a horror film of some sort. no costume.
1996 and earlier: not a clue. you'd think I'd go all out that year, being at the hippie progressive school and all. alas, I was a commuter. didn't have that whole dorms/bonding thing then.
And so far it looks like my long tradition of having nothing going on whatsoever on Halloween shall continue uninterrupted. More proof positive that nothing ever really changes. Hey, maybe if I start planning RIGHT NOW, I can make some plans for NEW YEAR'S EVE, since I'm pathetic in that regard too.
