cellomusette: (head tip)
this morning on my way down to Davis, i saw a woman in a wheelchair. i went out of my way to say "good morning, how are you?" she rolled over to chat with me, and asked me to fix her seatbelt. it took me a few minutes to dig it out from behind the seat, but i got it and buckled it for her. my good deed for the day, sort of. it made me feel good, because i know a lot of people in Boston probably wouldn't have even said hello. they would've just kept walking.

i spent a good chunk of today cleaning the old place. i vacuumed all the rooms, mopped the bathroom, cleaned a great deal of the kitchen, rolled up the rugs, etc. some of R's stuff is still around, in her room, in the dining room, in the kitchen, on the porch. aside from getting the last of her cruft, she might have to mop the kitchen and vacuum one corner of the dining room. otherwise the place looks good.

i still have some food left over there. i'll have to come up with a plan to get it by tuesday.

i was so tired when i got done that i took a cold shower and slept the rest of the day. i'm still tired and sore. and sweaty...ugh...i'll probably be a loser at band tonight. not feeling very musical. hope nobody minds too much.
