Jan. 2nd, 2004 12:26 amjust when all hope had been lost, the roommie swooped down and carried me off to the Selkirk party in North Reading. i was watching "Adaptation" and having dinner, and then i was on my way to do something amongst other humans. hooray for roommates who like you! i got to hang out with
hammercock and
trowa_barton, which was very nice since i don't see either of them very often. (although i probably would if i left the apartment more frequently.) i like this social circle. "silly" doesn't really cut it as a description of what we are, but it's a start. being around these people, having a "tribe" if you will, kind of takes the edge off the stupid things in life. all i know is, they don't throw things at me when i do goofy dance moves---they join in. THAT'S important, man.
anyway, i'd already slept through most of the day, and this was a nice ending.
