Sep. 15th, 2002 04:08 pmwhat's the point of aquarelle pencils? i mean, i know what the point is. you draw a picture and then you paint it with water and it melts into a wash. but i try and try to get comfortable with the media, and sadly, its just not my thing.
finally, my room is organized and vacuumed, and i cleaned out the hallway and the landing outside my door. after that i hung up some posters in that hallway, along with bright blue and green drapey things. (basically everything i own is either brightly colored, white, or black. there is no such thing as pastel) and i got the skylights open, which lowered the temp in my room about 5 degrees. so this day has been pretty productive. but i need something to eat, which requires shopping, unless i want to continue to subsist on beer and pasta and tofu.
the FSC library's open until 11 tonight. maybe after dinner i'll go there and start one of the projects i've lined up for myself. my mother's black rose is going to be easy, since she doesn't want it on huge paper. i may stick to the 14"x 17" size for awhile, unless something really warrants the big mama pad. we'll see.
