i am itchy

literally itchy. about two days after my layoff, my skin started prickling . my fingernails leave red raised lines. it use to happen a lot to me as a child, so i'm not certain how concerned i should be, but it's definitely annoying. i need to jump in a vat of tea tree oil.

my phome line will be ready at my new place at 3pm on Friday, May 10th. i'm psyched. one less thing to freak out about, since i enjoy freaking out oh so much!

today i was talking to jake about apartment stuff, and starting to freak myself out. in two days i'll be moving to an unfamiliar place where i don't know many people. i'm afraid the people i know vaguely will ignore me and i'll be all alone. this may be survivable, providing i can find something to do on my own when i get there, to distract me from the "whoa, total life change!!" aspect.

i wish i were taking a friend out there with me on this adventure. i'm not feeling brave today. i had better get used to being a loner again, i guess.
