About two years ago, a guy I worked with shared his philosophy with me regarding men and women.

"Men are stupid. Women are evil."

This was his explanation for strife in the world.

At the time, I thought he was vastly oversimplifying things. Or maybe just under-simplifying. My basic belief is that people are assholes. Not to say I don't like people; but we're assholes. In general.

Now, looking back on the past 24 years of my own life and charting the experiences of people around me, I'm inclined to think his statement was absolutely right.

And it makes sense, too. Women compensate for the stupidity of men, and male priviledge, by finding sneaky ways to get around them. This leads to a habit of evil behavior. Men compensate for the evil nature of women by pretending it doesn't exist. They avoid the head games by pretending they don't know how to play, and then they just forget. Unfortunately, they lose brain cells in the process.
