cellomusette: (unicorn poop)
I bought it less than 2 years ago. I'm not terribly shocked, since the motherboard had to be replaced on the piece of shit before the hardware warranty even expired (within one year of purchasing).
F- you, Dell.
DON'T BUY DELL. I've owned 2 Dell laptops and both of them died in less than 2 years. And they didn't run well for long before they started sicking up. You're not getting a good deal.

The nearby computer repair place said it needs replacing. If they're not even up for trying to fix it, it must really be gone. Wow. That's just sad.

If I were to replace it with a PC, I would likely go with Hewlett-Packard; my last HP computer lasted me almost 5 years with no upgrades. Yes, that's correct, I never upgraded it. Ever. And it wasn't actually dead when I replaced it; I just wanted a laptop! HAH...maybe I should've kept the damn thing. I might still have it TODAY. I can see it now...me with my 12-year-old HP desktop, running Windows 98.

As it is...I'm liable to go with a MacBook, if I can't get my old iBook G4 repaired.

Can't wait to spend a thousand dollars!! *barf*
